The Red Barn

The Red Barn is a wedding and events venue at 5786 State Highway 29, Karapiro, in the Hinuera Valley of the Waikato. According to the venue, the barn was originally built as a livery stable in the 1860s and sits on a 500-acre parkland property with rural views.

What it offers

The venue hosts wedding ceremonies and receptions, private functions and corporate events, with in-house catering that emphasises local produce. It also offers a five-course degustation experience (Taste of Waikato) and farm tours.

Recognition

The venue states that it was named Venue of the Year at the 2023 New Zealand Wedding Awards.
