Westshore Sea Scouts operates a hall at 808 Meeanee Quay, Westshore, Napier, which is available for community hire alongside its use by the Scout group.
The hall measures 15 m by 5 m with a maximum seated capacity of 100. It has a wooden floor, a full kitchen and changing rooms.
Hire enquiries go through the group leader, with pricing on request. The hall cannot be hired for alcohol-related events or parties — an important constraint for organisers to note before enquiring, as it rules out most function-style bookings.
Westshore Sea Scouts is part of Scouts Aotearoa and runs sections for Keas (6–8 years), Cubs (8–10), Scouts (10–14) and Venturers, with a water-based programme reflecting its Westshore location on Napier's coast.
The alcohol restriction and simple fit-out mean this is not a function or conference venue. It is realistically suited to daytime workshops, training sessions, community meetings, youth programmes and dry team-building activity. The full kitchen and wooden floor make it serviceable for practical, hands-on sessions.
