Meraki Studio NZ is a pottery and clay workshop operator based in a home studio at Ruatangata, a short drive through farmland from Te Kamo, Whangārei. The studio specialises in project-based, step-by-step pottery workshops designed with beginners in mind but also suited to those wanting to build on existing skills.
Workshops are all-inclusive: clay, all necessary tools, and the full finishing process — drying, two firings, sanding, glazing and packaging — are handled by the studio, so participants leave with a completed piece. For those seeking deeper learning, Meraki periodically runs an extended multi-week course covering project design, clay types, handbuilding methods, the stages of making, finishing, glazing and working safely at home.
For MICE and incentive organisers in Northland, Meraki Studio offers a hands-on creative activity well suited to team-building sessions, incentive add-ons and small-group experiences. A guided pottery workshop provides a relaxed, collaborative option within a conference or incentive programme in the Whangārei area.
