Rydges Auckland

Rydges Auckland is a 267-room hotel at 59 Federal Street in the Auckland CBD, close to Victoria Park, Freemans Bay and the Waitemata Harbour, and around 25 minutes' drive from Auckland Airport. Guest rooms include Rydges' Dream Beds and are equipped with safes, mini-bars, LCD TVs and dedicated workstations with free Wi-Fi and broadband, aimed at both leisure and business travellers.

Meetings and events are a core part of the property's offer. The hotel lists 20 function venues across the building with a stated maximum capacity of around 250 guests, giving it genuine scale for conference and corporate business. Spaces include the Hobson Room (seating up to 200 theatre-style), the Kingston Rooms, which can be used individually (from 27 up to 70 people) or combined into a single space for up to 250, four Executive Rooms suited to smaller breakouts of 10 to 20 people, two Federal Rooms for 40-50 people, and the intimate Rimu Room private dining space for up to 18. A standout venue is the Rooftop Terrace, Auckland's only dedicated rooftop event space, which holds up to 130 guests and overlooks the Waitemata Harbour and Auckland Harbour Bridge. This breadth of breakout rooms alongside larger plenary spaces makes Rydges Auckland well suited to multi-stream conferences as well as smaller residential meetings, with an in-house events team, catering and AV support.

Dining is centred on The CUT Restaurant & Bar, which serves modern cuisine and a 24-hour room-service menu, plus The CUT Bar for drinks. The hotel does not have a swimming pool but does offer a fully equipped gym for guest use. Parking is available on-site as both valet and self-park options.

Rydges Auckland is part of Rydges Hotels & Resorts, an Australasian hotel brand within the EVT group, which also includes QT Hotels, Atura and Independent Collection properties.

With its CBD location, extensive range of meeting spaces and a headline rooftop venue, Rydges Auckland is well positioned for conferences, corporate meetings, incentive events and business travel stays in central Auckland.
