Every Nelson restaurant rated 4.6 stars and above on Google, ranked for conference, incentive and group dining at the top of the South Island.
Nelson punches above its size for food. A strong café culture, a wine region on its doorstep and some of the country's best seafood mean the top of the city's restaurant scene runs deep — and this page ranks every Nelson restaurant rated 4.6 and above on Google. For a region where delegates often arrive not knowing the city, a rated shortlist is the fastest way to book with confidence.
Ratings point you to quality, but a group booking needs a little more. Many of Nelson's best rooms are small, so ask about private or semi-private areas, set menus for larger tables, and whether the kitchen leans on local produce and catch that may be seasonal. Use the ranking to build a shortlist, then confirm space and menu for your numbers directly with each restaurant.
