JW Marriott Hotel Auckland is a 286-room luxury hotel (271 guestrooms and 15 suites) at 22-26 Albert Street in Auckland's CBD, positioned as a high-end base for both leisure and business travellers, with design inspired by New Zealand's natural landscapes. Rooms start at 36 m², with views over the harbour, Sky Tower or city, and a 133 m² Presidential Suite with a private balcony and fireplace.
The hotel has seven event spaces totalling 614 m², with the largest space holding up to 400 guests theatre-style. Facilities include a 7-metre LED screen, soundproofing and dynamic lighting, making it suited to conferences, product launches and large corporate events as well as smaller meetings and boardrooms.
The hotel has three dining venues: Trivet, a fine-dining restaurant with Polynesian-influenced cuisine; Forum Bar, a lobby bar for coffee, wine and cocktails; and Kureta, a Teppan House experience. Wellness facilities include a 24-hour fitness centre, a 14-metre heated indoor pool with harbour views, a dry sauna and a vitality pool.
The hotel occupies the former site of the Stamford Plaza Auckland. It underwent a three-year phased, roughly $30 million renovation designed by Singaporean architecture firm O37 before reopening as New Zealand's first JW Marriott. The property is fully accessible, with wheelchair-accessible rooms, accessible meeting spaces and restaurants, and service animals welcome.
With its scale, seven event spaces catering up to 400 delegates and central Auckland CBD location, JW Marriott Hotel Auckland is well suited to major conferences, incentive programmes and corporate events, alongside other Auckland venues.
