Hobson Street is about 700 metres from the Coastal Walkway and a 10 to 15 minute walk from the town centre. The motel provides free use of bikes, which pairs well with the Coastal Walkway and gives visiting delegates something to do outside session hours.
Lockwood Manor has no conference or meeting rooms and does not operate as an event venue. Its role in a MICE programme is delegate accommodation: a quiet, self-contained, walkable base for people attending a conference or event elsewhere in New Plymouth. With twelve units it can house a small delegation or a project team in full, and the kitchen facilities suit longer stays such as multi-week training or contract work.
